Home of delicious Vegan pastries, this wholesale bakery can be found in various cafes and coffee shops around San Diego county!

They have perfected the vegan “buttery” croissant and I can’t tell that it’s not made with butter as it’s perfectly flakey and soft on the inside with a freshly baked crunch on top.

After building their website using Squarespace e-commerce, they were successful enough and it made sense for me to migrate them to Shopify.

My favorite page that I put together was the @splitbakehouse gallery page where I compiled all of their best pics in rainbow order. 🌈🤩

I migrated the website in 2020 from squarespace to the more robust @shopify site as their starter website proved itself as a profitable revenue channel.

I’m pretty happy with Shopify and I installed an app called @zapiet.uk Store Pick-Up and Delivery. This allowed a full customization that catered to a lot of caveats.
🥐 The bakery had 3 locations
🥐 You had to preorder by 12 pm prior to meet their baking cut off time- the system would then help push the customer to select the following day option if they placed an order after 12.
🥐 Some items are only available at certain locations and the customer had the ability to select the date and time.
🥐 I could set black out dates when the bakery was closed on certain holidays
🥐 I could set a minimum dollar amount for order

Their support was fast and speedy. The bakery menu changes bi-monthly and is always running specials so it’s great to have a platform is nimble and easy enough for anyone (like the owner) to go in and make changes without any complicated coding.
